Aerial Lift Device Operator assists with the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways. Key responsibilities include operating a bucket truck to reach branches interfering with electric lines, utilizing chain saws, pruners, and brush chipper, as well as climbing trees using specialized equipment.
Key Requirements:- A minimum of 6 months' verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket and/or running a bucket in a utility line clearance and/or residential tree clearance setting.
- CDL License/Valid Driver License is preferred.
- Pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.
4-10 hour days, either Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday, with periods of mandatory overtime. Employees are also required to work emergency storm duty as needed. Medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan, paid time off, and weekly pay are provided.
Travel and Work Area:Employees must be flexible to travel throughout various states, including PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV, due to contract demands and changing work locations.
