Cybersecurity Expert

Becoming a cybersecurity expert means staying up-to-date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and trends. It requires you to develop solutions to mitigate security risks and automate repeatable tasks.

• Identify current and emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
• Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
• Lead incident response activities and investigations into how breaches occur.
• Implement new security solutions to better protect the organization.
• Understand complex technical issues and manage them within a fast-paced business environment.
• Maintain software and hardware related to security.
• Document security certifications.

• At least 5 years of experience with network security and networking technologies, and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
• Expertise in various security products, including firewalls, URL filtering, information security, and virus protection.
• Experience with data protection and encryption.
• Experience securing data protection and backups.
• Familiar with writing and reviewing technical policies.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems, coding languages, and/or networks.
• Advanced English level.
