About the role

The Risk Management unit Brazil is seeking a talented Process Safety Risk Consultant with a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges, to join a fast-paced technical safety consultancy at the cutting edge of risk analysis techniques. The Risk Management team in Brazil provides a wide range of advisory safety engineering and risk management services to the energy industry, for CAPEX and OPEX projects, in Brazil and globally. The Process Safety Risk Consultant is expected to liaise with and support several customers and stakeholders in the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments, including hydrogen, ammonia, and regulatory agencies requirements.

About you

Graduated in Engineering (Chemical desirable), for at least 5 years (mandatory)

M.Sc., Safety Eng. Post-Graduation or related (desirable)

Qualitative risk analysis: HAZOP, HAZID, BowTie, SIL/LOPA, experience in software related

Quantitative risk analysis: PSM, Ship Collision, Dropped Objects, Vulnerability (PHAST), QRA (SAFETI)

Management system (internal audits, training, critical analysis - mainly in MoC, and Safety Critical Elements - ANP resolutions)

Knowledge related to Brazilian regulations (onshore and offshore) - IBAMA, NORMAM, ANP and NRs

Experience in developing/implement Safety Case (based on IADC, HSE UK and Brazilian Experience/ANP) (desirable)

Knowledge in programming language: VBA, Python (desirable)

Experience in upstream, desirable experience in downstream and midstream, LNG, Hydrogen and ammonia

Besides Portuguese, fluent in English

Spanish or French is a plus

Digitalization mindset (focus/interest)

Availability to travel

Behavior: presentation skills, proactive, focused on solutions, multitask (proposals, projects, presentations)
