Global Communications Strategist Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Global Communications Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping and implementing our global communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop proactive communications strategies to enhance visibility in the media and relationships with reporters.
  • Provide effective media relations counsel to senior management.
  • Identify media opportunities including editorial calendars, topical themes, journalist moves and emerging trends within LATAM.
  • Ensure broad, timely and relevant distribution of news about rating decisions, product developments and industry commentary.
  • Write media releases based on research reports and develop other media collateral.
  • Work with broadcast, print, online and specialist reporters to ensure optimal positioning of Fitch research and commentary.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese required.
  • A confident self-starter able to work effectively as part of a team but with the ability to operate autonomously without detailed management oversight.
  • A strong communicator who can provide effective advice for the benefit of the organization as and when necessary.
  • Able to package complex, market-sensitive messages for different audiences.
