Software Developer - IoT Edge Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team as an IoT Edge Engineer.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and experience in developing cross-platform libraries and tools for the Internet of Things (IoT).

  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing C++ libraries for Windows and/or macOS, with a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset are essential, along with hands-on experience with USB, Bluetooth, or IoT device integration.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices is expected, as well as familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with experience developing for Android and/or iOS platforms being an asset.

Nice to have:

  • Kotlin or Java experience.
  • Knowledge of package management systems (e.g., vcpkg, Conan).
  • CMake expertise for cross-platform build configuration.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow department members, product managers, firmware engineers, test engineers, and designers to develop cross-platform libraries and tools.
  • Develop new features, enhance existing features, and improve library quality.
  • Apply software engineering design patterns to develop well-structured, modular code.
  • Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring.
  • Ensure best coding practices and train junior team members.
