We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the commissioning process of data centers, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, tested and operational according to project specifications and standards.
About the Role- Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures and schedules
- Conduct inspections, tests and validations of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and emergency systems
- Document and report findings, issues and resolutions

- Commissioning Planning and Execution: Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures and schedules. Conduct inspections, tests and validations of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and emergency systems. Document and report findings, issues and resolutions. RFI monitoring.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with project teams, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on commissioning progress.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and client requirements. Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process. Conduct quality audits and witness necessary site tests.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation efforts.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation and reports, including Commissioning and Sequence of Energization Plans. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and approved.
- Schedule: Executive schedule monitoring. Deliveries monitoring.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably with a focus on data center projects
- Experience in LV/MV electrical equipment and systems commissioning processes and procedures is mandatory and highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
