Payroll Operations Specialist

This role involves managing the entire spectrum of HR services for employees throughout their lifecycle with the organization.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in payroll operations, including pre-payroll input, liaising with vendors, validating payroll reports and completing required documents by the global payroll team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate all workforce administration processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, probation management, employment verification, contract and document management, etc.
  • Handle employee inquiries as tier 1 support and maintain an inquiry FAQ to establish a knowledge database.
  • Manage employee timesheets, leave administration, compensation data collection for payroll processing, enrollment and termination for commercial insurance, and support international assignments or relocation.
  • Maintain employee and organization data in the HR Information System, generate HR function data dashboards and reports, and manage quality control processes to ensure HR operation services meet employee expectations and comply with local labor laws and legislations.
  • Design payroll service delivery and employee support frameworks to address business concerns and employees' inquiries, manage and execute regular and off-cycle payroll activities, and monitor end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Be responsible for payroll validation to ensure accuracy and compliance, manage payroll related vendors, assess and control discrepancies in vendor reports, and oversee the vendor onboarding/termination process.
Requirements:
  • Experience in HR operations, payroll, and talent management.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
