Senior Turbine Design Engineer

The Turbine Design Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for mechanical design on new or refurbished projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical design and analyze technical information from project plans.
- Plan the basic design phase, coordinate with hydraulic teams, and perform designs and calculations of turbine components.
- Direct design reviews, provide technical support to clients, and prepare documentation for execution of technical drawings.
- Optimize designs in collaboration with supply chain and site installation teams, and write reports and engineering documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in NX, AutoCad, and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Excellent language skills in English and Portuguese (French is an asset).
- Ability to influence others and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
