About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Installation and Data Center Expert to join our team at A100 ROW Servicos De Dados Brasil Ltda. As an Infrastructure Installation and Data Center Expert, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining data center infrastructure, including fiber cabling, server racks, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows
  • Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement
  • Basic networking removal/installation and clearing of configurations
  • Unpacking/repacking fragile electronics
  • Perform duties constantly and without deviations unless otherwise instructed
  • Updating progress through a web ticketing system
  • Reporting of processes and regular status updates
  • Work with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete routine work
  • Contribute to the development of other team members
  • Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required

A Day in the Life

As an Infrastructure Installation and Data Center Expert, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from installing new infrastructure to troubleshooting existing issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Salary Estimate: R$6,500 - R$8,000 per month, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Ability to travel 50%+ outside base location work area may be required possibly including international travels
  • Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies
  • Proven knowledge on TCP/IP networking, cabling, optic types, test equipment such as VFL, power meter, and OTDR
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
  • Certifications or knowledge in CCNA, CCNP or JNCIA
