Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our team in LATAM.

This individual will lead the design and implementation of scalable AI infrastructure, develop production-grade code using modern software engineering practices, collaborate with research and engineering teams to productionize AI solutions, drive product and project planning for AI initiatives, deploy AI systems to cloud environments, and continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks, compiler technologies, and AI trends.

  • 5+ years of experience working in Python development and software engineering (SWE/SOLID principles)
  • 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML systems in production environments
  • 2+ years of experience working with AI frameworks and techniques, including retrieval-based and agent-based approaches
  • 1+ years of experience in project management for AI initiatives
  • 1+ years of experience in product management or working closely with Product Owners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced English Level for effective communication with clients
  • Proven ability to reason about trade-offs in AI system design and stay current with emerging trends and tools in the AI ecosystem

  • Deploy AI systems to cloud environments and ensure their scalability and reliability

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in AI/ML development and deployment
  • 3+ years of experience leading AI projects and teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to reason about trade-offs in AI system design
  • Ability to stay current with emerging trends and tools in the AI ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies
