Lead Data Analyst for Payments

We are seeking a skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our Payments team in Sao Paulo. The ideal candidate will work on Earner Financial Products, analyzing data to inform product decisions and drive business growth.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, leveraging data insights to optimize product performance and user experience. Strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are essential for success in this position.

We require a high degree of autonomy, paired with strong technical skills, particularly in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with dashboarding and data visualization is also highly valued. Prior experience within the payments industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor strategic metrics to understand key drivers of business performance.
  • Design and run experiments to analyze the impact of product changes.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to inform product decisions.
Requirements:
  • Senior or Staff-level Data Analyst (6+ years of experience)
  • Advanced English skills
  • Strong SQL expertise (data engineering/pipeline building a plus)
  • Solid experience using Python or R
  • Experience launching multiple experiments and understanding experimental design
  • Experience with dashboarding/data visualization
  • Prior experience within the payments industry
  • Bachelors or M.S. in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
