Overview of the Role

This senior leadership position oversees a high-performing team of engineers, spearheading the development of core systems and defining technical roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads and mentors a talented team of backend, platform, and infrastructure engineers.
  • Owns the development of critical systems, including the Auction Engine and Information APIs.
  • Defines and drives cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and platform scalability roadmaps.
  • Guides backend architecture decisions involving distributed systems and high-throughput environments.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth planning and execution.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing or leading engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture in cloud-native environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Go, Python, or Rust in production systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining platform components like APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and internal tooling.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and modern observability stacks.
