Job Description

A seasoned Automation Engineer is required to design, build and maintain scalable test automation solutions. This role will ensure robust test coverage across UI, API, databases, and integrations, utilizing advanced testing methodologies and cloud platforms.

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks with Playwright (UI + API).
  • Write test scripts using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Data-Driven testing across projects.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and integrations.
  • Design automation aligned with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and framework best practices.
  • Integrate automation with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven expertise in test automation, ideally at enterprise scale.

  • Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright (UI + API automation).
  • Familiarity with Node.js-based automation frameworks.
  • Proficient in SQL & NoSQL querying/validation.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP design patterns (Page Object Model, Factory Pattern, etc.).
  • API automation (REST, GraphQL) with Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle build tools.
  • Cloud expertise: AWS & Azure.
  • CI/CD integration skills.
  • Strong Git/GitHub experience.
