Senior Distributed Systems Architect

We are seeking a seasoned expert in distributed systems to lead our data platform initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining planet-scale distributed data platforms, services, and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing scalable distributed systems, including data platforms, services, and frameworks
- Collaborating with application development teams to implement data strategies and solutions
- Translating business requirements into effective data models and architectures
- Analyzing complex data system integration challenges and proposing optimized solutions
- Staying up-to-date with emerging data designs, tools, and methodologies for data analysis and visualization
- 12+ years of experience in designing and coding distributed systems, with a focus on scalability and performance
- The ability to articulate technical ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, and Rust
- Experience with big data analytics, networking protocols, and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with open-source technologies like Kafka, Redis, and Clickhouse
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP or AWS
- BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent preferred
