Cloud Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and implement cloud architecture roadmaps
  • Lead the design and development of cloud-based systems

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of IT implementation experience
  • BS level technical degree or commensurate experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
  • Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting
  • Strong practical Linux, Windows and Container-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree desired
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required
  • 1+ years experience with integration of cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
  • 1+ years experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements

AWS Expertise:

  • Track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
  • Use of AWS services in distributed environments with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.

Thought Leadership:

  • Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to the enterprise cloud-based IT operating model

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
  • Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting
  • Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
