**Job Summary**

The Operations Director will oversee the Warehousing activities of the business with a focus on EHS, Service, and Quality.

This role requires a Logistics professional with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a background in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or Pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Logistics, Six Sigma, or Lean and be fluent in English, with Spanish a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Direct and coordinate all Warehousing activities to achieve Operations goals and objectives.
  • Lead the Operations team and coordinate activities with other functions.
  • Evaluate operational performance and create plans to adjust to targets.
  • Conduct Deviations investigations and action plans, receive Quality and Customers audits.
  • Review performance against operating plans and standards, provide reports and interpretation of results to direct reports.
  • Ensure Business Unit regulatory compliance for the warehousing of pharmaceutical products and make recommendations for the improvement of policies and procedures.
  • Drive a quality mindset within the area, ensure resources and processes support delivery of high quality and service.
  • Foster and maintain a customer-focused culture throughout the area.
  • Provides leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Direct, monitor, and effectively appraise the performance of all direct reports, recommending or providing training and development activities where appropriate.
  • Identify resource needs in line with defined strategies to grow and leverage the business.
  • Select and maintain a qualified team in all directly reporting positions.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
  • Cooperate and engage with other leaders of the business to achieve business unit and divisional goals.
  • Lead and promote a safety and efficient environment.

**Requirements**

  • Industrial Engineering or similar; Pharmacy or Business Administration degree.
  • Advanced certification in Logistics, Six Sigma, Lean, MBA a plus.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, ideally in Pharmaceutical Industry, and 3 years of management experience.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, people development skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making ability.
  • Sound administrative skills and well-developed management skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate people.
  • Participative management style with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with and develop diverse personalities.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Travel as necessary, internationally and domestically, 20%.

**Preferred Requirements**

  • Prior management experience, ideally in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in the 3rd Party Logistics industry, with Operations responsibility.
