Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced web application developer to fill a Frontend Engineer position in our organization. This role is ideal for individuals based in Brazil who possess excellent English communication skills.

You will contribute to the development of one of the world's largest online communities and discussion platforms, serving millions of users daily. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining all frontend features, as well as performing code reviews and providing feedback to colleagues.

Key aspects of this opportunity include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and supporting all frontend features of the platform.
  • Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborating with the team on future features and visual design possibilities.
  • Managing assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risks.
  • Contributing to technical discussions and sharing best practices with a global, remote team.
Requirements

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of software engineering experience, with a primary focus on building user-facing web applications using TypeScript. They should also possess solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics, as well as backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and the ability to design maintainable APIs.

Additional requirements include strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time, and excellent communication skills in English.
