Main Responsibilities- Solve complex data problems to deliver actionable insights that drive business success
- Create data products for analytics and data science teams to enhance their productivity
- Mentor and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and best practices
- Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and processes for analytic data engineering
- Understanding of data mesh principles
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis with experience in at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred)
- Business awareness of potential use cases
- Advanced degree in a STEM field with research experience in Data Science or Postgraduate degree in a STEM field with 3-5 years experience as Lead Data Engineer
