Structural Development Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Structural Development Specialist to oversee the maintenance, upkeep and repair of our facilities ensuring they remain in optimal condition.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives that optimize utility consumption and reduce costs.
  • Communicate work request status and completion effectively to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction.

Construction & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure all construction works adhere to strict guidelines and regulations, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including the Property Manager.
  • Develop and review plans, estimates, and scopes of work for various projects, guaranteeing timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Oversee all safety programs to prevent exposure and minimize liability for the property.
  • Assist in coordinating emergency response drills, including fire and earthquake scenarios.

Administrative & Budget Planning:

  • Foster collaboration among security, maintenance, and janitorial personnel through daily coordination meetings.
  • Support the Building Manager in preparing the annual budget for technical services and materials.
  • Guarantee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining a seamless operational environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A pleasing personality, good attitude, and customer-oriented approach are essential for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are required to effectively interact with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
  • Technical competence in various machines, equipment, and tools found in residential or commercial properties is mandatory.
  • Basic accounting skills, with the ability to forecast budget and monitor expenditures, are necessary for successful financial management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in property management is preferred.
  • Willingness to be assigned in Laguna, Brazil is highly desirable.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a valid license as an Electrical Engineer.
