- Engage consultants on development needs and areas for training using the performance management process.
- Develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor.
- Assist consultants in escalating employee relations issues or questions around general Human Capital operations.
- Monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when necessary.
- Understand the nuances of the type of work/roles being filled.
- Liaise with project team leaders to understand staffing needs.
- Collect relevant details from Partners and Practice Group TMs on projects to be staffed.
- Anticipate capacity issues and manage consultants' and Partner expectations accordingly.
- Communicate staffing outcomes to consultants in an empathetic manner.
- Understand the performance management framework and competency model.
- Coordinate with the Learning and Development team on appropriate training for consultants.
- Review all performance appraisals and follow up on any issues/performance flags.
- Coordinate and contribute to annual Career Review meetings for own consultant populations.
- Review weekly utilization reports and cross-reference with systems to ensure latest information is captured.
- Assist with the assembly of the project pipeline and consultant availability reports.
- Help prepare documents and exhibits for senior leadership meetings.
