Position Summary: The Planning Technician will operate within a cohesive planning and financial framework to enhance the utilization of resources, ensuring that project scopes are executed within the designated budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to established planning and scheduling protocols to create comprehensive project timelines.
- Establish and maintain progress tracking benchmarks.
- Evaluate subcontractor adherence to the prescribed scheduling guidelines.
- Conduct schedule data analysis to pinpoint trends, challenges, and areas needing attention, reporting findings to the Lead Planner and Project Team.
- Facilitate timely updates, analyses, and reports on schedule performance.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather schedule inputs throughout the phases of pre-construction, construction, and commissioning of significant infrastructure projects.
- Monitor, assess, and report on schedule milestones and forecast future schedule developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant years of experience in the field.
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Primavera P6.
- Fluency in English is required.
