Role Summary

The Finance Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient financial processes, encompassing payment processing, vendor management, and customer interactions.

This entails thorough understanding of VAT recording requirements and meticulous analysis of invoices for accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process timely payouts to vendors, affiliates, and customers, adhering to dispute resolution procedures
  • Post invoices, manage banking operations, and follow up with P2P processes for optimal efficiency
  • Ensure prompt payments and reconcile transactions with accuracy, supporting the month-end closing process
  • Prepare comprehensive reconciliations aligning with US GAAP and Sox framework standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure process alignment, share knowledge, and best practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements impacting daily team activities
  • Support innovative projects for process enhancement, testing new tools and software
  • Maintain and develop technical expertise to execute tasks efficiently
  • Able to follow detailed procedures and instructions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in AP, AR, Credit Control, Purchase, OM, Accounting, Treasury, or Administration
  • Experience working with integrated systems (SAP, Ivalua, or others)
  • Solution-oriented and results-driven professional
  • Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful individual
  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize workload and efficiently manage time
  • Eye for detail and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Language: English written and verbal / Portuguese written and verbal
  • Spanish is an asset
