Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java 8, Spring, and Cloud SQL (MySQL). They will also be proficient in JUnit unit testing, API development practices, and code versioning using Git.

This role involves developing solutions, conducting impact analyses, defining implementations consistent with the existing context and structures, and reviewing code from other developers. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to define technical solutions and align them with their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software solutions using Java 8 and Spring
  • Design and implement scalable database systems using Cloud SQL (MySQL)
  • Conduct thorough impact analyses and develop recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and align them with client needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming language: Java 8
  • Cloud platform: GCP
  • Database management system: Cloud SQL (MySQL)
  • Unit testing framework: JUnit
  • API development practices
  • Code versioning tool: Git
  • Intermediate/advanced English proficiency

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with BigQuery
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Go Lang
  • Experience with queueing tools like PubSub, SQS, among others
  • Experience with migration tool Flyway
  • Experience with GitLab
