Job Title:

Senior Well Delivery Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a diverse team of professionals in the planning, drilling and execution review of new wells.

  • Safety Leadership: Drive a culture of safety excellence through effective leadership and communication.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Line manage and develop a team of over 50 staff, expat contractors and local Iraqis to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement nationalisation programs to build local capability and competence for succession planning.
  • Support Subsurface Deputy Manager as required and provide direct support and coaching to national New Well Delivery Managers.
  • Ensure alignment and close collaboration with Reservoir Management, Base Management, Wells, Operation and Projects teams to deliver new wells to meet production targets.
  • Own new well documentation and ensure efficient cross-functional cooperation with other departments.
  • Develop and maintain 'Draft' Drilling Schedules and be a key stakeholder to 8Q plans.
  • Manage NWD teams ability to deliver activity in line with the Annual Delivery Plan (ADP).
Requirements:

Qualifications: Relevant degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering, MSc desirable.

Experience: Extensive oilfield experience including solid experience in a NWD leadership role.

Skills: Proven track record of delivery in integrated working environments, deep discipline knowledge and strong strategic thinking skills.

  • Fluent English and superior communication, presentation, mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Track record of providing strong leadership through influence.

International Experience: Greenfield and brownfield developments, multicultural environment and rotational roles.
