We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Talent Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a population of consultants across various offices and practices.

• Talent Development: Engage with consultants on development needs and areas for training, utilizing the performance management process as a basis.
• Develop strong relationships with each consultant, establishing trust and serving as a trusted advisor.
• Assist consultants in accessing resources for career guidance and direct them towards relevant training opportunities.
• Elevate employee relations issues or concerns regarding Human Capital operations, providing support and escalation when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of work-life-quality matters and take prompt action when required.
• Collaborate with Human Capital Managers on managing the pyramid, training, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of project roles and responsibilities.
• Liaise with project team leaders to understand staffing needs within your area of responsibility.
• Collect essential details from Partners and Practice Group TMs regarding assigned projects, anticipating capacity issues and managing expectations accordingly.
• Communicate staffing outcomes to consultants under your purview in an empathetic manner, ensuring seamless integration.
• Track mobility issues, holidays, trainings, background checks, and other ad-hoc staffing tasks, guaranteeing timely completion.
• Ensure consultant files (bio slides, project reviews, technical skills) remain up-to-date and readily available for project proposals.
• Monitor consultants' performance, skills, and development needs, using this information to inform their growth and progression within the organization.

• Familiarize yourself with the performance management framework and competency model, applying this knowledge to individual consultant situations.
• Coordinate with the Learning and Development team to identify suitable training opportunities for consultants.
• Review performance appraisals, addressing any issues or performance flags in collaboration with project teams and managers.
• Attend and contribute to annual Career Review meetings, guiding consultant populations toward continued growth and success.

• Analyze weekly utilization reports, cross-referencing data with systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the assembly of the project pipeline and consultant availability reports, providing actionable insights.
• Promote efficient communication by assisting with the preparation of documents and exhibits for senior leadership meetings.
• Analyze performance outcome results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Engage in ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed, leveraging enterprise resource management tools and performance systems.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring resource planning systems remain up-to-date.

• Participate in project work within and adjacent to the broader Human Capital function, focusing on topics like employee experience, retention, flexible working, utilization, and performance.
• Demonstrate initiative by organizing your own work and guiding colleagues in developing project deliverables.
• Cultivate strong relationships with cross-Practice Group, Market, and Regional teams, contributing to special/ad-hoc assignments in a collaborative environment.
• Become an ambassador for Oliver Wyman values, embodying our principles in daily activities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning by seeking opportunities for broader involvement within the organization.
