Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant and Cleaner to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, set up cleaning carts with supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways.
  • Use ladders or stools to clean hard-to-reach areas and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Wash shower walls and tubs, clean toilets and stall walls, and wipe exposed pipes, mirrors, sinks, and walls.
  • Replace towels, soaps, and room amenities, and restock literature and supplies.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings, including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners.
  • Strip and remake beds with fresh linen, checking for cleanliness and replacing if soiled.
  • Inspect and report any issues with door and window locks, room equipment, and other safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of our housekeeping department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
