Transportation Safety and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in transportation safety and compliance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as expertise in transportation contract administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safety programs, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and developing data-driven recommendations.

  • Develop and implement transportation safety programs that meet regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Investigate incidents and develop reports to identify root causes and recommend improvements
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to drivers and other stakeholders on safety procedures and protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as transportation, logistics, or a related field
  • Experience in transportation safety and compliance management, including experience with ANTT-ANAC regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop data-driven recommendations
  • Expertise in transportation contract administration, including the review, analysis, and interpretation of contract terms and service level agreements
  • Familiarity with transportation technologies, such as telematics, fleet management systems, and route optimization tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Intermediate English language proficiency, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of Excel and SQL
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
