Content Strategist/Writer Job Opportunity

At our leading YouTube production company, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Strategist/Writer. This individual will play a pivotal role in ideating, researching, and executing engaging reaction compilations for our popular YouTube channel. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing skills, with a unique voice that resonates with our brand's tone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling narratives that elevate the viewing experience and keep audiences engaged
  • Conduct thorough research to identify relevant compilation topics that drive high engagement
  • Collaborate with our team to craft light-hearted and humorous outlines for talent to follow
  • Assist in creating and maintaining our content strategy
  • Review and approve various assets, including graphics and thumbnails
  • Conduct quality control checks on final exports
  • Use YouTube Analytics to understand success and failure factors and make data-driven adjustments

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in creative writing within the digital media space
  • Stellar writing skills with a funny, sarcastic, clever voice that adapts well to our brand
  • Strong initiative and creative thinking as it relates to Pop Culture and content production
  • Ability to deliver content on tight deadlines
  • Experience using Google Suite, Monday.com, or other project management tools, and Slack
  • Deep understanding of YouTube backend functionality
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
