Key Responsibilities


• Establishes reliable partnerships with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Collaborates with fellow architects to outline the platform strategy that addresses present and future needs (roadmap).

• Primarily operates at the conceptual and logical architecture levels; produces logical reference architecture diagrams.

• Works in conjunction with Domain and Enterprise Architects to explore innovative solutions.

• Partners with System Architects, Delivery Teams, and new initiatives to ensure alignment of solutions with reference architectures and strategies.

• Engages with vendors to identify, learn about, and promote emerging product capabilities that fulfill business requirements.

• Develops fundamental architecture skills.

• Provides technical guidance within their community; mentors and nurtures the technical talent within their team.

• Oversees the overall business process, technical solutions, and architecture of data products within their program.

• Designs and supports the creation of technology systems that align with business needs, focusing on platform operations and reliability.

• Develops and delivers product lifecycle planning and roadmaps.

• Operates primarily at the physical architecture levels; creates physical reference architecture diagrams.

• Assesses and guides the selection of technologies necessary for introducing new systems to meet business needs.

• Possesses in-depth knowledge of systems, products, and capabilities.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT.

• Proficient in English.

• Industry training in Architecture Frameworks (preferably TOGAF).

• Experience in contributing to and leading architecture engagements.

• Strong analytical skills along with knowledge of incident and change management. Customer-focused, capable of building relationships, taking ownership of problem resolution, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and possessing excellent leadership abilities, both written and verbal communication, with an innovative mindset.

• Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Coordinating activities with other support teams and business clients.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Recommended technologies:

• SQL, Java, Python, basic Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate, NiFi, DBT, Snowflake, Collibra, ER Studio, Data Modeling.

• Desirable technologies:

• Alteryx, SAP BODS, TAMR, Enterworks, MDG, Data IKU, Databricks, Confluent Kafka.

• Architecture - familiarity with architecture methodologies.

• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture directives and IT strategy.

• Comprehension of business processes and data lifecycle of data products within their team.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (define, design, develop, test, deploy, operate).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (GitHub actions).

• Requirements Gathering - capable of collaborating with consumers to gather their requirements and translate them into technical design and architecture.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
