Visual Effects Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Lead to join our team. As a Visual Effects Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of high-quality visual effects for our games.

  • Create all art needed for visual effects, including concept, proto and final FX, with blueprint and Niagara logic, models, textures, materials, camera effects, animations and particles.
  • Execute on a range of visual effects styles from realistic to stylized.
  • Lead a growing team of effects artists, mentor and coach artists you work with.
  • Collaborate with other discipline teams to produce cohesive game experience.

You will work closely with production on the schedule to deliver the FX in a timely manner and drive the style and feel of Fortnite's FX.

We're looking for someone with a strong reel/portfolio showing executed Real-Time FX work, a critical eye for timing, animation, and motion of real-world objects and visual FX, and good instincts for realistic and stylized FX.
