MEP Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the technical documents meet precise specifications, coordinating on-site execution, and upholding the quality of all MEP works.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems and design processes, with excellent knowledge of relevant international and regional codes and standards. You will also possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with project leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support project engineers in planning MEP systems for efficient project delivery
- Prepare and review technical submittals, including drawings, materials, calculations, method statements, and reports
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of technical documentation
- Monitor and track submittal approvals to uphold timelines and quality expectations
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated site execution
- Provide timely resolutions to site technical issues
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and compliance
- Ensure installations meet local and international codes, standards, and project specifications
- Assist with quantity take-offs, procurement, and logistics of MEP materials
- Contribute to as-built documentation and final handover packages
- Participate in meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of technical experience in MEP construction
- Solid knowledge of MEP systems and design processes
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Revit preferred
- Familiarity with Autodesk tools and collaborative platforms
- Strong understanding of design techniques and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of relevant international and regional codes and standards
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
