About the Role

This new position will work collaboratively with Internal Control and Audit team, HR, Legal, Finance and other functional and business areas to investigate and remediate concerns. Integral parts of this role beyond conducting investigations include effectively analyzing and communicating results, findings, and themes to management and working with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document comprehensive and objective internal Compliance investigations
  • Interview individuals suspected of commercial bribery, fraudulent activities, or non-compliance behaviors, get supportive facts and evidence, and retain transcripts and documentations for further management decisions or legal enforcements
  • Produce regular high-quality investigation reports to summarize business impacts for updating senior management teams
  • Running background checks, employee investigations, and asset searches on suspected perpetrators
  • Analyze outcomes and findings to identify themes and opportunities; coordinate and advise on remediation efforts
  • Effectively and regularly communicate results, findings, themes and improvement opportunities to executives
  • Able to prioritize multiple investigations, investigative tasks, and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining positive collaborative relations with various stakeholders
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

Qualification

  • 5+ years professional experience in operations, and investigations related to fraud, abuse, or cybercrime
  • Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and strong project management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of fraud investigations as well as application of case law and state laws and regulation
  • Strong ability to gather information from various online sources and community groups
  • Capacity to draw actionable insights from datasets; knowledge of SQL, Python, or equivalent is a plus
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and business communication, etc)
