Job Title: AI Engineer - Prompt Engineering Specialist

At Yalent, we're seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team as a Prompt Engineering Specialist. This role involves designing, fine-tuning, and optimizing large language models (LLMs) and machine learning applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions and stay at the forefront of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and fine-tune LLMs for NLP applications, with a primary focus on prompt engineering to enhance model performance and response quality.
  • Create and optimize machine learning models using libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Design and implement effective prompts that align with business needs and user requirements, ensuring models provide accurate and insightful outputs.
  • Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and product managers to design AI-driven solutions that meet business and customer objectives.
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including prompt iteration and hyperparameter tuning, to ensure models deliver consistent and high-quality performance.
  • Integrate NLP and machine learning models into business applications, ensuring smooth interaction with other systems.
  • Analyze large datasets using tools like Hadoop and Spark to extract valuable insights and improve model accuracy.
  • Maintain data pipelines and automation workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of machine learning models.
  • Stay current with advances in prompt engineering, machine learning, and AI, continuously improving models based on emerging techniques and trends.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices for prompt engineering and model optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a specific focus on NLP and prompt engineering.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with data manipulation tools like SQL and Pandas.
  • Proven experience in fine-tuning and optimizing models using prompt engineering techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in handling large datasets.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and tools like Jira for project management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on AI-driven innovation.
