Main Responsibilities
  1. Development and support of mainframe systems, MRP system using Cobol, JCL, IMS, DB2, and mainframe tools.
  2. Create new programs, define program specifications, conduct analysis, perform testing, debugging, and document the system.
  3. Support all phases of the project from requirements definition, specifications, execution planning, coding, system integration, integrated testing, deployment, documentation, and user training, ensuring quality deliverables.
  4. Support and maintain the MAMM Local and Corporate suite, ensuring 24x7 availability, including responding to support calls outside of regular hours and on weekends.
  5. Design and implement processes or improvements for the technology HUB.
Key Skills and Experiences
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and solving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Application Design and Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and outcomes of application design; ability to use methodologies and tools to convert business requirements into technical designs.
  • Implementation: Knowledge of application functioning for organizations; ability to implement application software in an organization and assist end-users with specific tasks.
  • Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools and techniques for requirements analysis; ability to obtain, analyze, and document necessary functional and non-functional requirements.
  • System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of system features and capabilities; ability to integrate and communicate between applications, databases, and technology platforms.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Development, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge in Mainframe.
  • Advanced knowledge in Cobol, IMS, DB2, and mainframe tools.
  • Availability for support and maintenance of local and corporate MRP, ensuring 24x7 availability, including responding to support calls outside of regular hours and on weekends.
  • Intermediate English.
Preferred Candidates
  • Advanced English.
  • Advanced knowledge in Snowflake, Oracle, MS-Access, or similar databases.
