High Voltage Substation Design Engineer

  • Support preparing project scopes, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Understand physical substation design including layout planning, technical specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement protection and control systems for efficient operation and reliability.
  • Prepare detailed calculations and reports for studies and assessments (grounding, lighting protection, AC/DC load studies, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budgetary constraints.
  • Effectively communicate project activities with stakeholders, including clients, managers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of high voltage substation designs, incorporating both physical and protection & controls aspects.
  • Develop innovative technical solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Mentor and train less-experienced engineers in substation design principles and best practices.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration with project stakeholders, including clients, managers, and internal teams.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver results.
