Infrastructure Architect Role

The ideal candidate will design, build and automate infrastructure to simplify operating a large scale distributed system. As a key team member, you will focus on end-to-end customer experience and drive improvements in service performance, scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bridge business applications, cloud operations, customer support, and engineering to deliver solutions.
  • Review application code to identify root causes and provide solution options, including contingency plans.
  • Recommend performance and feature capability enhancements for improved customer experience.
  • Enhance provisioning, automation, configuration, integration, deployment and release processes.
  • Collaborate with development, QA and other teams on Engineering projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with *NIX system administration, Java, Linux/Unix, Ruby, Perl and Python programming.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with System Monitoring and Logging Solutions.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills and experience managing vendors.
  • Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred.

As a system administrator, your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless integration between different components of the system. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire infrastructure, from initial setup to ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
