Power BI Developer - Qualified Pipeline

Join Data Meaning, a leading Business Intelligence and Data Analytics consulting firm, in building a pipeline of experienced Power BI Developers. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leveraging your expertise in Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop Power BI Dashboards that meet business requirements and ensure accurate data visualization.
  2. Collaborate with business clients to determine reporting needs and ensure business rules are accurately captured.
  3. Create unit test conditions, scripts, and data for Power BI reports.
  4. Build and test Power BI reports with Databricks-based data according to design and IT performance standards.
  5. Resolve report issues identified by the test team during integration testing and by the client during customer acceptance testing.
  6. Transition code to the maintenance team after production release.
  7. Update and maintain report documents, such as report designs.
  8. Communicate task status to project leads and alert them to potential issues and risks.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of four (4) years of development experience with Power BI.
  2. Solid foundation with Power BI Report Builder.
  3. Databricks basic knowledge (SQL or Python).
  4. Previous experience working with ETL methodologies (Databricks, Prophecy ETL).
  5. Solid foundation in BI and Data Analytics, SQL, etc.
  6. English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Data Modeling.
  2. Data Partitioning.
  3. Performance Tuning.
  4. Spark framework and Spark-based languages.
  5. Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture.
