We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior E-commerce Developer to join our team in a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce development, with expertise in Shopify and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying e-commerce solutions using Shopify. This will include working closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing technical solutions to meet those needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years of professional experience in e-commerce development, with a focus on Shopify.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong experience building Node.js applications with TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).
- Hands-on experience with Shopify development, including Liquid templating and custom theme work.
- Experience with Shopify App Bridge, Polaris, and UI Extensions.
- Familiarity with modern frontend tools (React, Tailwind, Vite, etc.).
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
- Working knowledge of performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Shopify's Partner Dashboard, billing APIs, and app publishing.
- Deploying apps to Google Cloud and working with authentication methods such as OAuth in Shopify apps is a plus.
