Job Overview

The Senior Data Engineer/Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, deploying, testing, and maintaining highly scalable and efficient data architectures. This ensures the scalability, reliability, quality, and performance of data systems.

This position requires a strong foundation in programming and a deep understanding of how to integrate and manage data effectively across various storage systems and technologies. Experience with stream-processing systems is a plus. Expertise in Cloud Computing in AWS, including knowledge of a variety of AWS services, is highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, deploy, test, and maintain high-performing data architectures, defining and maintaining standards and best practices for data management independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, quality, and performance of data systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior/mid-level data engineers.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Scientists, and Analysts to understand data requirements and develop data solutions, including reusable components.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data integration, processing, and analysis.
