The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our Marketplace Management Systems | BASE Team in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience.
Your Impact- Design and develop complex modern web applications with high availability and scalability;
- Work closely with front-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and follow HTTP best practices;
- Apply computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis;
- Work with cloud-based architectures, specifically AWS and GCP;
- Develop RESTful web services and work with SQL/NoSQL technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB;
- Communicate effectively with diverse teams located across different countries;
- Articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in English;
- Experience as a key technical person in critical projects;
- Coding experience in one or more programming languages (Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python);
- Extensive background in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Advanced English skills;
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
