The Fragrances Application Coordinator Role is a key position in our production team, located in Malvinas Argentinas, Buenos Aires Province. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Applications Manager and be responsible for managing activities and providing technical support to Sales and Development teams.

">Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate fragrance creation and application laboratory activities, including sample preparation for internal and external clients.
  • Prepare fragrance applications on various bases to meet Development teams' needs.
  • Define sample weighing priorities with Sales and Development teams and provide them with samples.
  • Allocate resources to meet business project schedules.
  • Perform fragrance stability assessments with clients or Sales and Development teams.
  • Provide technical support to Sales and Development teams and external clients.
  • Manage laboratory expenses and allocate funds accordingly.
  • Develop new formulations and search for new ingredients to create business opportunities.
  • Manage procurement of supplies and materials necessary for laboratory operations by managing inventories.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide training opportunities for team members.
  • Maintain communication with sales, application, evaluation, production, and quality control departments.
Your Profile:
  • Hold a University degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Have at least 6 years of laboratory and product formulation experience, preferably in the fragrance, cosmetics, or chemicals products industries.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience leading laboratory teams.
  • Be knowledgeable in fragrances and fragrance product categories, formulation, and application.
  • Understand good laboratory practices, handling laboratory equipment, and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Have a good understanding of laboratory techniques applied to perfumery.
  • Be familiar with ISO protocols.
  • Possess skills in Microsoft applications.
  • Have an upper intermediate level of English proficiency, both oral and written.
