Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer to collaborate with our clients on flexible, project-based development work.
- As a core member of the client's team, you will work alongside designers and engineers daily, integrating seamlessly into their workflow.
- Integrate directly with clients' existing teams, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
- Proven experience in building and exposing APIs within SFCC for frontend integration is essential.
- Strong knowledge of SFCC controllers, pipelines, and custom objects is necessary.
- Familiarity with API-first principles and backend-for-frontend (BFF) strategies is required.
- Analyze legacy SFCC codebases to extract business logic and custom flows.
- Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, and integration workflows is essential.
- Experience working in headless commerce projects is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to libraries as needed and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
- Forensic attention to detail and a positive mindset are crucial.
- Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems is essential.
- Ability to take ownership of your work and consistently meet deadlines.
- Identify with the goals of our clients and dedicate yourself to delivering on commitments.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week consistently.
- 4+ years of professional experience in SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) backend development.
- Advanced English language skills are required.
