Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Development: Guide and nurture the inventory planning team, ensuring alignment with Stryker's strategic goals. Oversee inventory management across the LATAM region for Orthopedics, Medical, and Neurovascular sectors, ensuring efficient inventory operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Demand Planning team on a monthly basis to refine inventory strategies, focusing on customer satisfaction and a customer-first mindset in inventory management.
  • Action Planning: Develop and implement strategies for managing excess inventory through local or inter-country transfers. Analyze data to identify consumption patterns, forecast demand, and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Performance Metrics: Maintain optimal fill rates to meet service level and inventory KPIs, ensuring timely product availability for our customers.
  • Compliance Management: Partner with Trade Compliance to manage intercompany inventory transfers, ensuring adherence to trade regulations.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage ERP systems and Excel for effective inventory management, streamlining processes through technology.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Measure and analyze customer satisfaction related to product availability and delivery, adjusting inventory strategies to uphold high satisfaction levels. Generate and monitor performance reports and KPIs related to inventory, providing insights to leadership.
  • Service Level Management: Ensure high service levels by actively managing inventory availability to prevent stockouts and meet customer demands, aligning inventory practices with service goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish at an advanced level.
  • Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Chemistry, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, or Food industries is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in ERP systems (SAP, JDE, TOTVS).
  • A minimum of three years of leadership experience.
