Senior Technical Program Manager, Partner Engineering, Prime Video

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Partner Engineering team at Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical product or program management, with experience working directly with software engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Foster Strong Technical Relationships: Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with our third-party partners, including assessing requirements and underlying feature requests to recommend technical approaches.
- Conduct Pre-Project Discovery and Scoping: Gather product and roadmap information to work with engineering teams to develop a detailed plan for integrations.
- Make Recommendations to PV Leadership: Provide recommendations to Prime Video leadership that will support vetting 3P technology platforms and capabilities as a qualification for successful engagements.
- Manage Relationships with 3Ps: Manage relationships with third-party partners, notably during the business development, qualification, and technical implementation stages.
- Implement and Optimize Technical Aspects: Implement and optimize the technical aspects of distribution relationships.
- Manage Projects After Deployment: Coordinate post-launch device activities, including technical aspects to increase engagement and 3P problem solving.
- Drive and Refine Technical Engagement Process: Drive and refine the 3P technical engagement process around integration and distribution.
- Investigate New Technologies: Investigate new technologies for Prime Video distribution and identify new companies and technologies to work with.
- Manage Long-Term Interests: Manage long-term interests as well as the tactical and day-to-day aspects of the role.
- Coordinate with Product and Software Development Teams: Coordinate closely with product, software development, and technical program management teams to ensure continuity of the technical needs of 3Ps.
- Drive Customer Experience and Engagement Improvements: Drive customer experience and engagement technical improvements with our LATAM partners.
- Drive Process Improvements: Drive process improvements in 3P qualification and integration.
The Partner Engineering team supports third parties throughout the process of launching and sustaining Prime Video on their living room devices. This is uniquely challenging as 3P LR devices are more fragmented than mobile devices, benefit less from app store distribution, and require chipset-specific integrations.
Requirements- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, working directly with software engineering teams.
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
