Position Summary:

To bolster this exciting new venture, we are expanding our Financial Planning & Analysis team. We seek a Manager to spearhead the financial planning and analysis for our advertising segment in the Latin American region. This role presents a unique opportunity for professional growth, working alongside a diverse and global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both short-term and long-term financial and workforce planning for the complete ads business P&L (covering revenue and expenses) within the LatAm market.
  • Collaborate with Ads Strategy and Planning colleagues to model and integrate the financial ramifications of product, plan, and pricing modifications.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to provide insights and facilitate discussions on trade-offs, scenario planning, and opportunity assessments.
  • Prepare insightful presentations that summarize analyses and support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee our financial forecasts and assumptions within planning systems, including Anaplan, Workday, Essbase, and Tableau.
  • Establish KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to monitor the ongoing performance of the Ads business.
  • Standardize and automate management reporting through dashboards, reports, and templates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, effectively communicating financial tracking and impacts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a dynamic, analytical environment, preferably in advertising FP&A, management consulting, or strategic finance within tech or high-growth startups.
  • Proven experience in developing and refining financial reporting processes amidst high ambiguity and changing requirements.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and proficiency in handling large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and tackle a variety of complex tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building successful relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with sound judgment on when to apply the 80/20 rule to resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday, Essbase, Anaplan, and a general understanding of the streaming advertising and ad tech landscape is advantageous, though not mandatory.
