Remote IT Field Service Technician

This role involves providing expert IT support to residential and small business customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems, resolving boot errors and login problems, setting up or troubleshooting Wi-Fi and wired internet connections, replacing or upgrading hardware, configuring or connecting printers and scanners, and performing general maintenance on multifunction printers.
You will work independently, dispatching to customer sites, completing service calls efficiently and professionally. Strong communication skills are essential for providing clear explanations to customers and documenting service visits.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in field IT support, including computer and printer work, familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands, knowledge of error code troubleshooting, and experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting.
This is an on-call, independent contractor role with variable hours. You will join our network of technicians and receive job opportunities based on your location and availability.
