We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer II to join our team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert support to customers in the digital tools and flows, working closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize product improvement initiatives through formal methods.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Enhance customer productivity, debug complex issues, and provide solutions in digital tools and flows.
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize product improvement initiatives.
  • Champion customer needs and work closely with R&D and Marketing to develop competitive and creative technical solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality support to customers, including producing out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using tool capabilities or scripting techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar fields.
  • Experience in digital implementation flows on advanced nodes.
  • Expertise in one or more domains: Synthesis/Physical Design - Place & Route/STA.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and flow development is a plus.
  • Must have excellent debugging skills and ability to separate critical issues from trivial ones.
  • Experience leading a small to mid-size team of engineers is a plus.
