Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.

This role involves documenting, maintaining, upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems. Additionally, the candidate will support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.

  • Documenting, maintaining, upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems
  • SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING USER ACCOUNT INFORMATION INCLUDING RIGHTS SECURITY AND SYSTEMS GROUPS

The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in a related area or 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware
  • Experience with desktop operating systems including Microsoft and Mac OS X
  • Extensive application support experience
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities
  • Good understanding of organizational goals and objectives
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • Strong documentation skills
