Experienced UX Designers Wanted

We are looking for talented designers who can shape player experience across combat, exploration, and narrative in games inspired by classic and modern JRPGs.

The ideal candidate will lead UX thinking across major systems, ensuring that core mechanics feel intuitive, satisfying, and player-first. They'll design flows, wireframes, and interaction prototypes to support key experiences, not just interfaces. The UX Designer will collaborate with designers to improve the feel and clarity of core game mechanics, identify friction points across the entire gameplay loop and propose smart, game genre-aware solutions.

  • Bridge the Design Team with other teams to ensure visual and technical execution supports usability and emotional tone
  • Use tools like Figma, Miro and Unity to develop and communicate UX intent

The successful candidate will research and document genre conventions, identifying both good practices and opportunities for innovation. They'll help define usability testing plans and translate feedback into actionable iterations. Above all, the ideal candidate will advocate for accessibility, clarity, and joy in every part of the game.

We're looking for senior or lead UI/UX designers with at least one shipped game or app under their belt. A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, user flows, and UX strategy is a must. Experience working directly with engineers and shipping UI in a game engine (ideally Unity) is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience designing UX in game development, ideally on games with layered systems and mechanics.

Experience designing for console or controller-first games is a bonus point, as is motion design or interaction design skills for feedback and transitions. Game design literacy and familiarity with accessibility design for games are also desirable traits.
