Strategic Project Director

This role entails overseeing and implementing projects focused on assisting returnees, displaced communities, and hosts.
Main Responsibilities:- Guarantees the timely and efficient execution of projects according to donor agreements and guidelines.
- Ensures effective communication and visibility requirements are met, with plans for advocacy activities if necessary.
- Identifies, manages, and reports on project-related risks.
- Establishes and leads coordination mechanisms with support departments.
- Fosters relationships with state and local authorities, other NGOs, UN agencies, and relevant stakeholders through external representation.
- Manages HR processes related to the project team, including recruitment, performance management, professional growth, capacity building, and mentoring of national staff.
- Delegates tasks appropriately to responsible project staff members.
- Ensures that procurement planning is integrated into the project work plan and country programme procurement plan.
- Facilitates communication between the field office and main office.

Effective leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, ability to manage complex projects, experience in human resource management, logistics, and procurement.
